Item-level answers are used to calculate your result inside the request and are not written to the database. We store the quiz version, result type, normalized scores, a pseudonymous browser-credential hash, an answer fingerprint for safe retries, and optional source or campaign parameters. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics scripts.
Private reports remain available for 90 days by default. Creating a share keeps the result and its public excerpt for up to 365 days from quiz completion. Anyone with the public link can view or forward it, and the original browser can revoke it. A daily job clears expired records; disaster-recovery copies may remain for the provider’s recovery period.
The browser credential is a random value stored in a Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax cookie; the server stores only its hash. Clearing the cookie removes this browser’s ability to open private reports or revoke shares.
Public /studio needs no login. Its draft stays in this browser session. Validation, preview, and analysis send the draft to the server for processing, but do not save it as a shared draft; export the YAML to keep your work. The separate, protected /admin workspace stores shared drafts, the last editor’s account email, and save time in the cloud database for authorized colleagues. Neither workspace publishes content directly; publication requires a separate review and deployment.
